Hammered Sterling Silver Teardrop Earrings with Baltic Amber

Let the warmth of ancient light dance beside you. These handcrafted sterling silver teardrop earrings feature glowing 5mm Baltic amber cabochons, sunset encapsulated in stone. Each cabochon is set by hand into the curve of the hammered silver, creating a simple yet enchanting contrast of texture and fire.

The teardrop shape has been carefully forged and textured in my Essex studio, giving the silver a gently rustic shimmer that catches the light with every movement. Measuring approximately 36mm by 25mm (not including the hook), they’re bold yet lightweight —perfect for everyday magic or an elegant woodland gathering.

What is Amber?
Amber is fossilised tree resin, formed over millions of years and revered for centuries as a stone of sunlight, warmth, and protection. Often called “sunstone” in ancient times, Baltic amber is especially prized for its rich golden-orange hues and natural inclusions. It’s believed to bring comfort, healing, and grounding energy.
